North Carolina Security Officer Course

The student will complete the Private Protective Services Board “Basic Unarmed and Armed Security Officer Training”. The blocks of instruction include The Security Officer in North Carolina, Legal Issues for Security Officers, Emergency Response, Communications, Patrol Procedures, Field Note Taking & Report Writing and Deportment. The student will receive a certificate of completion after passing the written exam. The certificate is valid for one year. Course Requirements: -Slacks and Collared shirt is required. -Course Manual will be supplied -Must have pen and notebook for note taking -Duty weapon, and holster and 100 rounds of ammunition for the day and night qualification course required by the State of North Carolina. It is recommended to bring an additional 100 rounds if you have to retake a portion of the North Carolina Armed Security Officer firearms qualification Course. -Class starts promptly at 1600 hours everyday of the 3 day training event. -Call provided phone number of (305)764-8927 for other needed information.
